DORPG

Data You Create

When you use DORPG, you may create quests, journal planner items, hourly schedule blocks, feedback messages, and account information. Guest data is stored locally in your browser. Logged-in account data is stored in the DORPG database so it can sync across devices.

Guest Mode

If you continue as a guest, your quests and journal planner data are saved in your browser local storage. DORPG cannot recover this local data if you clear browser storage, change devices, or use a different browser. If you later log in, DORPG may ask whether you want to import local guest data into your account.

Account Mode

If you create an account or log in, DORPG stores your account name, email address, password hash, quests, journal planner state, XP, level, and future player state needed for the RPG system. Passwords are not stored as plain text.

Analytics

DORPG uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to understand how the alpha is used. Analytics events may include actions such as opening pages, creating quests, changing difficulty, dragging journal items, submitting feedback, or using login/register screens.

DORPG analytics should not send quest titles, quest descriptions, journal task text, names, email addresses, or feedback message contents.

Feedback

Feedback submitted through the app is sent to a Discord webhook so the project owner can review bugs, ideas, and confusing moments during the alpha. The feedback form asks for a display name, optional email, and message.

Cookies And Browser Storage

DORPG may use cookies for login sessions and security. It may use browser local storage for guest quests, journal planner data, UI preferences, and local-to-account import prompts.

Third Party Services

DORPG currently uses Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Discord webhook delivery. These services may process technical data according to their own policies.

Alpha Notice

DORPG is still in alpha. Features, storage behavior, data model, and account sync may change as the product is refined. Do not store sensitive personal, financial, medical, or legal information in the app.
